Event: Transplant Games

TRIO Philadelphia members promote the success of organ transplant by participating in the biennual Olympic style athletic competitions that have been held over the past 20+ years as the “US Transplant Games” hosted by NKF.  In 2012 the games are hosted differently, under the name “Transplant Games of America” or “TGA.

Funds for the team (and other OPO related community educational activities) are raised primarily through an annual AprilDASH for Donor Awarenessrun/walk event that currently draws over eight thousand participants held at the foot of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
